RWM will be required to hold, collect, store and occasionally share, personal information about its service users. This information will be held and used to help us provide, the best and most appropriate care of its wards. As a rule, we will not share any personal data with any third party, without the explicit consent of the subject. While personal information held by professionals and agencies is subject to a legal duty of confidence, and should not normally be disclosed without the subjects consent, it is fundamentally essential, that staff respond immediately where they have concerns or suspicions of abuse or neglect. UK Law allows us to disclose personal data, with certain third parties, when a safeguarding concern arises. Concerns about confidentiality, should not supersede the rights of children and or vulnerable adults at risk of or suffering harm. Information sharing, wherever needed, will be done within the compliance expectations, of the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018, The Human Rights Act 1998 and the Common Law duty of Confidentiality.
