RWM Knife crime awareness workshops

Join Our Workshop Now

These workshops include a range of activities and discussions, aimed at raising awareness, of the risks associated with carrying knives.  Our Founder Mr Robert White, is eager and available to give talks, using social stories, and his own personal experiences with knife crime. These individually tailored workshops can involve some Interactive exercises and role playing scenarios.

The workshops can be customised to fit the requirements of various learning environments, such as schools, prisons, local community hubs, colleges, charities, staff training courses and parent groups.

The aim is to help young people understand the impact that knife crime can have on individuals, families and communities, and to develop the skills and knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their own safety.  They will have the opportunity to ask questions, and receive support if they are concerned about their own, or a friend’s involvement with knife crime.

One of the aspects of our knife crime workshops, is to push the legal and long term ramifications of carrying a knife.  By educating our young about these serious issues, and promoting prevention strategies for weapon related violence, we can help to prevent tragedies, and create safer communities for everyone. Each person that is present at the workshop or assembly talk, will receive a RWM Knife crime awareness certificate, acknowledging their taking part.

If you are looking for an engaging and informative knife crime workshop, or assembly talks, RWM will be honoured to provide this service.
